- 1 catfish, cleaned and beheaded
- 5 eggs
- 5 c. milk
- 5 c. flour
- 1/4 c. salt
- 1/4 c. café pepper
Take the catfish and submerge it in the egg wash, making sure every inch of the catfish is coated. Remove the catfish from the egg wash and place it in the flour. Roll the catfish around, making sure that every inch is covered with flour. Heat cooking oil to 300 degrees. Place catfish into oil so that it is fully submerged. Let the catfish cook in oil for 15-20 minutes. Remove catfish from oil. Let drain, plate and enjoy.
