Funny Bunny 5K & Autism Egg Hunts

Unity Village

Paws 4 Autism kicks off Kansas City’s Autism Awareness & Acceptance Month with a fun event for both families and dog-lovers alike. This annual event is held on the first Saturday in April at Unity Village in Lee’s Summit, MO. There are two egg hunting fields. One for special needs kiddos and their “buddy” and another for our four-legged friends.

Easter Eggstravaganza at Town Center Crossing

Join Town Center Crossing and Mix 93 by the fountain at Town Center Crossing for Easter Eggstravaganza. Enjoy prizes from Mix 93 and Town Center merchants along with Easter story time, cookie decorating and crafts.

Breakfast with the Easter Bunny & Easter Egg Hunt

Powell Gardens

Join the Easter Bunny for a morning of fun at Powell Gardens! Enjoy a Chris Cakes’ pancake breakfast, storytelling, make-and-take craft project and—for kids ages 10 and younger—an Easter Egg Hunt at 11 am.

Downtown Bunny Hop

Downtown Lee’s Summit

Children and their families are invited to join the Easter Bunny in a parade from City Hall Plaza to Howard Station Park. After the parade, kids can visit with the Easter Bunny and visit participating stores to receive free candy. There’s also an Easter Bonnet Contest in Howard Station Park following the parade.

Easter Eggstravaganza at Union Station

Hunt for 3,000 eggs and enjoy science demos and activities at Science City at Union Station during their second annual Easter Eggstravaganza.

Kansas City Easter Parade at Zona Rosa

Town Square at Zona Rosa

In 2006 Zona Rosa reintroduced a local favorite: Kansas City’s own Easter Parade. It was met with such fanfare, that the event has become an annual tradition at Zona Rosa. This free community event features the Easter Bunny, a best dressed contest for the whole family featuring Spring/Easter finery, a petting zoo, live entertainment, family games and much more.

2015 Easter Egg 5K

Southcreek Office Park

This fun family event features a beautiful course that you are sure to enjoy, a visit from the Easter bunny, great event shirts, post race food and drink, unique finishers medals for all participants plus overall and age group awards. In addition to the 5k there will be a Lil’ Bunny Fun Run for kids 8 years old and younger. A portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit Marillac.

Plaza Bunnies & Wonderland Animals

Country Club Plaza

The Country Club Plaza makes its annual transformation into an Easter Wonderland this spring. The popular Plaza tradition brings colorful, larger-than-life bunnies and other springtime animals to the Plaza’s courtyards and street corners. Mermaid and Pomona Courtyards, on the west side of Seasons 52, are home to a lively collection of animals for children to play on, while the Easter bunnies line the Plaza’s sidewalks.
