Get Gorgeous at Park Place’s Newest Destinations

Marble & Milkweed

Rejoice, sybarites! Two new beauty destinations are slated to open soon in Leawood’s Park Place.

For those whose beauty routines lean toward “I woke up like this,” Hand + Land will be the new go-to. Owned by uber-hip locals Jessica Moler and Nicole Lobdell, the shop will specialize in all-natural handmade products from small-batch producers when it opens later this spring. In addition to botanical skincare products from Marble & Milkweed and wild-crafted soaps and fragrance for men by Juniper Ridge, you’ll also find a selection of environmentally conscious home products, ranging from Common Goods natural cleaning products to Lucky Palm Tree organic baby clothes. 11527 Ash Street

At the other end of the beauty spectrum is the new location of Bare Esthetics, which offers the latest cutting edge approaches to beauty, including injectables such as Botox and Juvederm, hormone therapy, laser hair removal, body sculpting and facial rejuvenation. In addition to theses and other treatments offered at Bare Esthetics’ original location (on 151st Street), the new, 1,700+ square-foot venue also plans to offer spray tanning and massage therapy. 5230 W. 116th Place
