A Christmas Carol

The Kansas City Repertory Theatre brings the classic story of Ebenezer Scrooge and the meaning of Christmas to life Friday at 8 p.m at Spencer Theatre. The lively musical is a must-see, and tickets can be purchased for 25 percent off through Nov. 30 here.

Crown Center Ice Terrace

Dust off your skating skills with a night on the Crown Center Ice Terrace. Whether the temperatures are hot or cold, you’ll be able to enjoy Kansas City’s public outdoor rink until 11 p.m. for a wallet-friendly price of just $6. Holidays Kickoff and Lighting Ceremony

Starting at 10 a.m. at Union Station, kids and adults can enjoy a number of hands-on holiday activities, from train rides to face painting and writing letters to Santa. Kansas City Chiefs vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Last week, the Chiefs solidified their No. 1 spot in the AFC West after beating the Carolina Panthers, and Sunday’s game provides the chance to cheer on the home team, whether you’re at Arrowhead Stadium or on your living room couch. Kickoff is at 12 p.m., and will be broadcast on CBS if you want to host a watch party.
