Frosty Skate: Frozen Day
The rink at Silverstein Eye Centers Arena will be transformed into a winter wonderland Friday, complete with holiday crafts and an appearance from Santa from 1 to 3 p.m. Holiday crafts and family activities will be available until 7 p.m. and the ice skating rink will be open until 9 p.m. Admission is $5 or $8 with skating. Conservatory Exhibit: Christmas Couture
This whimsical holiday display at Powell Gardens features lavishly decorated dress-form Christmas trees with pops of color from poinsettias. The exhibit is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. through January 8. Click here to learn more about the exhibit.
Kansasa City Santa Shuffle 5K
Burn off those holiday calories in the Negro League Baseball Museum’s second annual Kansas City Santa Shuffle. Each participant will be given a full Santa suit to wear and run in, and proceeds from the run will go toward Team WallStreet Foundation. Those who wish not to run can participate in a two-mile walk or trot. To purchase tickets to for the 5K, click here.
Skip the cooking this Christmas and let The Rockhill Grille feed you and your family Saturday. From 4 to 8 p.m., the restaurant will be serving a three-course meal for $45.
