Kick off Small Business Saturday at the Power & Light District, where local shops and restaurants will be offering deals and complimentary services from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The first 100 guests will receive a gift from the downtown district, and recipients will be able to redeem their gift at Cosentino’s Vendor Fair. Participating shops and restaurants include Bare Med Spa, The Polished Edge, KC Garment Collective, Insomnia Cookies, BRGR Kitchen & Bar and Posh KC.
Leawood’s haven for small businesses can be found at Park Place, where local retailers like Alysa Rene Boutique, Pink Antlers Studio, Hand + Land and TallulahBelle’s can be found. This year, Park Place debuted Handmade Holidays, a pop-up shop full of items from Kansas City-based artists and creators. Stop by this shopping center on Small Business Saturday to receive a free “Shop Small” tote bag from a number of stores while supplies last. Park Place is open Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Pink Antlers Studio will also be giving away a $50 gift card on Saturday, and Hand + Land will be offering 25 percent off of a single item and an extra 25 percent off of sale items.

Stop by Coveted Home on the Country Club Plaza for a chance to shop Sierra Winter Jewelry‘s latest collection, Winter Rose. Customers will be able to enjoy cocktails while they peruse the store’s discounts. A free gift is also being offered with purchases. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
