Bluegrass in the Bottoms
Head down to Knuckleheads Saloon Friday for the start of a two-day outdoor music and brews festival for all ages. Artists like the Yonder Mountain String Band, Joshua Davis and Railroad Earth will perform on the main stage and a VIP pass will get you access to the after parties. Coveted Home Turns One
Celebrate the one-year anniversary of Coveted Home with a trunk show from noon to 4 p.m. and champagne, wine, beer, snack and jewelry from 4 to 7 p.m. on the Country Club Plaza. The home goods store will be debuting new products, and is offering 15 to 20 percent off of select pieces as well as a chance to win giveaways. Coveted Home is located at 610 W. 48th St.
A Fearless Fete
Don your best space-inspired outfit for the Kansas City Repertory Theatre’s gala, which raises money for the theater’s productions and outreach programs. Starting at 7 p.m., the theater will provide out-of-this-world food and drink, a silent auction and in-depth moonwalk and light saber training. Tickets are $250 and can be purchased here.
